Watermark and Limitations

1. How can I get rid of the watermark?
A watermark (or a jingle overlaid on the audio tracks) gets embedded on all the players made with PodSnack. You can remove this watermark from the "My PodSnack" page by activating the premium options.
2. I have upgraded to Premium. Why does the watermark still show on my PodSnack?
If the watermark still appears on your playlist after you’ve activated the Premium options you need to clear the cache from your web browser and refresh the page.
3. What are the free version's limitations?
The free version of PodSnack will apply a watermark on your player and will limit your playlist to 5 songs, when you embed it. Also, you won’t be able to download the player.

Pricing

1. Is PodSnack free or do I have to pay for it?
PodSnack is free for testing and you have full access to all the app's features. If you use the free embed code, the playlist will be limited to 5 tracks, each of maximum 5 minutes.
However, if you want to remove the watermark from your players or download them, you only have to pay 8 points. You can buy points here.
Alternatively you can get a VIP membership.
2. I don’t understand the points system. Can you explain it?
SnackTools points are the only currency you need to pay for the premium features throughout our applications. Points are required when you want to publish your work, the final step in PodSnack. More precisely, you will need to pay if you wish to get a watermark-free embed, a playlist with more than 5 songs or download . You can buy 8 points for 1 player or you can purchase points in bulk. SnackTools points never expire so you can use them on current and future projects without concern for an expiration date.
Read more about it here: here.
3. What is the difference between points and the VIP subscription?
With points you can unlock premium features for your widget and it will stay premium forever. You can only edit your PodSnack for 24 hours when you unlock it with points. The VIP subscription gives you unlimited points (for all SnackTools applications) for as long as it’s active. When (or if) it expires, all your widgets will be watermarked. Any unused points that you might have before getting a VIP subscription will remain available to use after the subscription becomes inactive.
Read more about points and VIP here.
4. How many points do I need to buy? How much does 1 player cost?
You can use PodSnack for free, but you need 8 points to get access to both the download and the premium embed code of your playlist. You can buy points here.
Alternatively you can get a VIP membership which technically gives you unlimited points per month to use in all SnackTools apps.
5. What happens when my VIP membership subscription expires?
The VIP membership is automatically renewed. However, if you choose to cancel your subscription or if your payment processor refuses the payment, your subscription will expire. In that case, the premium options will become locked and you won't be able to use them unless you unlock them with points or you get a new subscription. If your monthly subscription expires and you don't wish to renew it, you can use points to unlock the desired items (will stay unlocked forever).

Troubleshooting

1. I cannot view my player. Why?
In order to view the audio players created with PodSnack you need html5 and CSS3 compatible browsers. IE8 for example doesn't support this technology so the players won't work with it.
2. My playlist plays only 5 tracks. Why?
It’s because you are a free users, and you’re using PodSnack with some limitations. The 5 tracks limit is one of them.
3. I purchased my player and now I cannot edit it! What can I do?
You can edit your player within 24 hours when you unlock it with points. You will need to pay again if the 24h have passed and you want to edit again.
4. I've updated my playlist but it still displays the old one. What should I do?
You need to clear cache from your web browser and refresh the page.
5. I cannot find my playlists, even though I’m logged in and I go to “My PodSnack”. Where are they?
This article will answer your question.
6. My playlist has turned into a static image. Why?
If a playlist hosted on our cloud exceeds the maximum number of views/day, it will turn into a static image and a small button will be displayed linking to the playlist’s “public link" page on PodSnack.com.
Standard premium items (purchased with points or VIP Membership) include 25,000 views/day. If you think you will need more than that, you should check out the Business plan which has more options on the shopping cart page.

After these 24 hours, the playlist will become locked. You will be able to edit the playlist "as new" afterwards and publish it again as a different playlist. VIP members can permanently edit all their SnackTools widgets including PodSnack playlists for as long as they keep their subscriptions active.
5. How do I embed a player into my blog or website?
It's very easy to embed the players you created with PodSnack. Just create your playlist and when you're finished, click "Publish" and in the "My PodSnack" page, click on the "Embed code" option and copy the generated HTML code. Paste the code in any HTML-supporting medium, such as your website or blog admin. To use the premium embed you need to activate premium options for that playlist in the first place. Get more details.
