Watermark and Limitations

1. How can I get rid of the watermark?
A watermark (or a jingle overlaid on the audio tracks) gets embedded on all the players made with PodSnack. You can remove this watermark from the "My PodSnack" page by activating the premium options.
2. I have upgraded to Premium. Why does the watermark still show on my PodSnack?
If the watermark still appears on your playlist after you’ve activated the Premium options you need to clear the cache from your web browser and refresh the page.
3. What are the free version's limitations?
The free version of PodSnack will apply a watermark on your player and will limit your playlist to 5 songs, when you embed it. Also, you can only make 5 playlists per account and you won’t be able to download the player.

1. Is PodSnack free or do I have to pay for it?
PodSnack is free for testing and you have full access to all the app's features. If you use the free embed code, the playlist will be limited to 5 tracks, each of maximum 5 minutes.
However, if you want to remove the watermark from your players or download them, need to get a subscription.
2. What happens when my premium membership expires?
The membership is automatically renewed. However, if you choose to cancel your subscription or if your payment processor refuses the payment, your subscription will expire. In that case, the premium options will become locked and you won't be able to use them unless you you get a new subscription.

1. I cannot view my player. Why?
In order to view the audio players created with PodSnack you need html5 and CSS3 compatible browsers. IE8 for example doesn't support this technology so the players won't work with it.
2. My playlist plays only 5 tracks. Why?
It’s because you are a free user, and you’re using PodSnack with some limitations. The 5 tracks limit is one of them.
3. I've updated my playlist but it still displays the old one. What should I do?
You need to clear cache from your web browser and refresh the page.
4. I cannot find my playlists, even though I’m logged in and I go to “My PodSnack”. Where are they?
This article will answer your question.
5. My playlist has turned into a static image. Why?
If a playlist hosted on our cloud exceeds the maximum number of views/month, it will turn into a static image and a small button will be displayed linking to the playlist’s “public link" page on PodSnack.com.
Standard premium items purchased with Pod Lite or Snack VIP range from 10 000 to 25 000 views/month. If you think you will need more than that, you should check out the Snack Business plan which has more options on the shopping cart page.

1. What kind of files can I use with the PodSnack application?
You can upload tracks that are in MP3 format.
2. How many tracks can I add to a PodSnack playlist?
You can upload up to 100 tracks per playlist with Pod Lite and Snack Vip and 150 tracks with Snack Business. So if you upload more tracks than can be used in one playlist, the additional tracks won't make it to the final playlist.
3. How many playlists can I create?
You can create as many as you want with a premium subscription, as a free user you can create only 5 playlists per account.
4. Do my tracks have to be under a certain maximum file size?
The tracks have to be MP3's and under 5MB with a free subscription, 20MB with Pod Lite, and 100MB for the rest of the subscriptions.
5. What's the bit rate PodSnack players will play?
PodSnack will play MP3 files at the original bit rate, meaning it won't make any compression/optimization.
6. Can I add music from my iTunes?
No, you can’t upload music from iTunes.
7. How can I upload music into my embedded widget?
You can add more music into your embedded widget by going back to your PodSnack collection and adding more music from there. Your embedded playlist will be automatically updated.
8. Can I sell my tracks using PodSnack?
You can add a "Buy" button for each track in your playlist. Three of the templates support the buy button (Music board, Music board 2 and Minimalist) and there are more to come. The button will link to a page at your choice (a music online store where you sell your songs). After uploading your tracks, click the "Edit tracks" menu (right under the playlist's name) and you'll be taken to the page where you can add titles to your tracks. Read more about it here.
9. Can I do a live stream with your player?
No, that’s not possible.
